Hardscaping is more than just laying down rocks. When you hire Hinkle Hardscapes, you are getting a team of highly trained and motivated employees. We care about our customers and will go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction.

Zach Hinkle

Owner
Zach was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Oak Park High School in 1998. In 2007 Zach launched K.C. Lawn & Landscaping, Inc. which is now named Hinkle Hardscapes. Zach started in the trenches designing and building top quality projects. He loves being involved in the business and making sure his customers have a positive experience. Zach loves family time with his kids, traveling, and watching soccer. He is a huge Sporting KC fan!

Maryn Burns

Design & Marketing Assistant
Maryn graduated from Mizzou in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art and minors in Spanish and Art History. In her spare time, she loves watercolor painting and watching movies. She is thrilled to be entering the working world as a member of the Hinkle Hardscapes team!

Cody Naginey

Production Manager
Cody graduated from Seminole State College with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management. After years of managing residential and commercial projects throughout Central Florida, he decided to make Kansas City his home. When he’s not on the job site, he enjoys spending time with his family, and anything Marvel or Star Wars. He is also always ready for a trip to the K to cheer on the Royals!

Ken Gibson

Design & Marketing Director
Ken graduated Kansas State University in 2003, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. He began his career working on large-scale projects before fine-tuning his craft on the private residential scale. Ken has over 16 years of design and industry experience with an emphasis on residential outdoor living environments, from the landscape, hardscape, and decorative concrete aspect.

Rebecca Christus

Associate Designer
Rebecca recently relocated to Kansas City from Springfield where she worked for online gourmet kitchen appliance for 7 years. With a family background in masonry and college degrees in painting and graphic design, Rebecca is ready to help you start your journey to a new outdoor living environment space and ensure you have a great experience with Hinkle Hardscapes. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing trains with her son, producing video projects for Hinkle Hardscapes and creating custom kitchen mixers and knife blocks.

Randy Phillips

Senior Designer
Randy graduated from Kansas State University in 1979, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. He has worked in a wide range of graphic disciplines and has also worked in the construction and nursery industries. Randy has over 35 years of design and industry experience and enjoys creating awesome outdoor spaces!

Mariah

Marketing Specialist
Mariah graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a Certificate in Event Management. In her free time, she enjoys working out, creating art, and watching movies. She is very excited to be a part of the Hinkle Outdoor Living team and contribute her skills and passion to the company!

Kim

Senior Designer
I have been fortunate to work in pool and outdoor living design for over 12 years, creating beautiful and functional spaces for families and friends to enjoy. Beyond my professional life, I stay active by playing pickleball and spending time with my family and friends.

Jose Velazquez

Crew Member
Jose has been a devoted crew member since the summer of 2008. He has been with the company longer than any other employee. During this time, Jose has stood by Zach’s side and helped him complete hundreds of projects. On the job site, Jose likes to motivate the other crew members. When Jose is not at work he likes to relax and spend time with his 4 children.

Guillermo Mendez

Crew Member
Guillermo has been a member of the Hinkle Hardscapes team since the spring of 2010. When Guillermo is on the job site, you can be sure that your project will be completed efficiently and with care. He loves watching backyards transform into beautiful outdoor living spaces. When he’s not at work, Guillermo enjoys spending time and playing with his 2 children.

Pedro Sigala

Crew Member
At work, Pedro enjoys encouraging the other crew members. His favorite part about his job is seeing the homeowners reaction to their new outdoor living space. He has been working for Hinkle Hardscapes since early 2015. When Pedro isn’t on a job site, he is busy at home with his wife and 5 children.

Javier Miranda

Crew Member
Javier began his journey with Hinkle Hardscapes in 2009. He enjoys watching projects transform from start to finish. His favorite part about working at Hinkle Hardscapes is spending time with his brother, Francisco, and dad, Javier Sr. When Javier is off the clock, he is at home entertaining his 3 children.

Francisco Miranda

Crew Member
Francisco joined the Hinkle team in 2014. He enjoys interacting with homeowners and answering their questions. At the end of the day, Francisco enjoys spending time with his family. In particular, Francisco enjoys playing outside with his 3 children.

Javier Miranda Sr.

Crew Member
Javier has been working as a crew member since 2015. His favorite part about working at Hinkle Hardscapes is that he gets to spend time with his sons, Javier and Francisco. Javier has two other children. When he is not on the job site, he loves being at home surrounded by his grandchildren.

Rene Quezada

Crew Member
Jose has been working for Hinkle Hardscapes since the summer of 2012. His favorite part about his job is seeing projects come to life. When Jose is not at work he enjoys spending time with his 3 children and talking quite walks with his wife.

Victor Estrada

Crew Member
Victor has been working as a crew member for Hinkle Hardscapes since 2013. He likes listening to music and hanging out with his friends and family. In his free time, he likes to keep himself busy.
